About Abhinay
I have succeeded in every math and science course that I have taken. I also got a 4 on the AP Calculus BC test and a 5 on the AP Biology test. I think understanding a concept is more important than just memorization, so that will be focused on. I have been accepted into multiple prestigious universities, such as the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Illinois for biochemistry. I have research projects at Northwestern University and the University of Michigan, as well as a completed project at Oakland University. I am also a certified Phlebotomist (blood drawing) and am a teacher's assistant at a phlebotomy school. Although I am professional, I believe a casual learning environment is vital. As my phlebotomy instructor says, "I don't play, but I like to have fun."

My teaching style is student-oriented. I will guide the student based on their weaknesses. I will go as in-depth into the topic as possible. I think that it is very important to understand the concept rather than memorize it, so that will be what I focus on. I work best with other high school students. I know what it takes to get into a selective university for pre-med, so I can help with that as well.
