About Midas

I have worked with multiple non-profit tutoring organizations such as the JCC and Sparks Within Reach and have worked with K-7th graders professionally but I am highly knowledgeable of the K-11 curriculum and can tutor any student in that range.

I’m a fun tutor and know how to engage my students while getting them ready with the material we need to cover. I like to pride myself on my passion for teaching and understanding of how to hold someone’s attention as my skills for tutoring.

About the lesson

My teaching style is to tailor a learning plan to your brain. This isn’t a long process but requires communication with the student to know how they would feel best supported.

I always say the key to memorization is to understand the content first, the rest comes naturally. This style of teaching also helps for cumulative end of the year exams, as I’m not tutoring to make the student memorize in the short term but to understand for the long term.

A typical lesson plan would be to help the student understand the material and then go over some practice problems or questions.

My lessons are geared towards K-11 graders.
