About Jad

I am passionate about learning and assisting in others learning. The school system has not always done a good job of helping students learn so I thought that I should do something to help. Some personal things about me are that I love to play basketball in my free time and watch anime. I look forward to helping you succeed in school and also getting to know you on a personal level. I like to have fun while doing work but am also very serious about what I do. I believe that if you start a job you have to finish it, so if I am going to help you I am going to do it to the best of my ability. Just a side note, in order to find out what level of math or science you are currently at, I will be asking you what 9+10 is equal to on the first day. Hopefully you get it right.

About the lesson

My lessons are dynamic and change based on your needs. I know various ways to teach a single topic. A typical lesson plan will include going over different methods to solve a problem and letting you assess which one fits you best. I also will provide online resources and textbook information. For PSAT and SAT prep I will send scans of the official SAT prep book for no additional charge. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have recently been in the same classes that you are in and I have struggled through them as well. However I fought through it and I am able and willing to help you fight though it as well. School can be stressful but with the right help and encouragement you will succeed. My lessons are for grades 6-11. If you are a high school student I can help with with AP and advanced courses as well because I've been through them. My hourly rate is flexible and I will happily consider any financial concerns.
