About Lauren
My name is Lauren and I am a senior at FSU, double majoring in history and criminology. I have proficiency in history, english, and geography as well. I have taken classes in all three, with history and english on the collegiate level as well as achieving high scores on AP and IB tests in high school for those subjects. I also have additional english credibility through being an editor and writer of my school newspaper throughout high school.

For history lessons, depending on the struggle at hand, we will go over timelines, as well as fun activities to get the student to remember and retain the information provided. For geography, going over countries, cities, and states by general region, as well as including activities that help the student further comprehend the material and location of the aforementioned area. In English, we will go over sample pieces as well as practice different writing styles. For older students, we can also review correct forms of citations, footnotes, and techniques to fit into different writing forms (MLA, Chicago, etc.)
Depending on the subject and material, I can also help provide great studying techniques that help the student to further their proficiency outside of the session and classroom.
These lessons are for K-12 students. I have previous AP and IB credits for the classes, as well as college credits pertaining to the subject matter.
