About Jamie
Lead Engineer with in the Oil and Gas industry. Worked in Defense, Ship Building, Oil and Gas Industries for the past 20 years. After completing a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Portsmouth.
Currently qualified to Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council. I have an interest in developing the young minds of the future from Graduate Engineer's to School Age.
I have two Step-Daughter's age 19 and 15 and a son aged 8. I know how difficult kids can find the subjects. Mostly it is down to confidence, so not only will i help your kids get the questions correct, i will give them the confidence that they know they are right.
I started getting into tutoring my sitting with my step-daughter and going through her Nat 5 maths preparation.

My teaching style is to ensure that the child or young adult has the confidence and not just the ability. Ability can leave the body as soon as an exam is called. I have sat enough of them to know that although preparation is key, you need to believe in yourself, to reach the highest of levels.
