I'm a senior studying Computer Science at Georgia Tech. My qualifications include a 4.0 college GPA, a 1550/1600 on the SAT (800 Math, 750 English), an 800/800 on the SAT Math 2 Subject Test, and a 5/5 on both AP Calculus BC and AP Computer Science A.

My lessons are intended for high school students in one of the following classes: Algebra 1 or 2, Geometry, Precalculus, AP Calculus AB, and AP Computer Science A.
I’m a patient and encouraging tutor, and if one method of explaining a topic doesn’t make sense, I’ll explain the topic in a different way that may be better for the student I’m working with. For example, a lot of math problems can be looked at either through the equations and variables, or visually through graphs, and I like to look at problems both ways to help reinforce understanding. In addition, I always try to explain the thought process of how to solve problems, so that students will have more success solving different types of problems in the future.
In high school, there was a point where a lot of math started to "click" for me. When this happened, I was able to solve a much wider variety of problems due to having a true understanding of each solution. This deep understanding is what I seek to instill in students I work with. One of my favorite parts of tutoring is seeing the lightbulb go off in someone's head when a concept finally makes sense.
Tutoring is one of my greatest passions, and I love helping students achieve their academic goals!
