About Bolivar
I am a third year Civil Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I am passionate about my career and I am currently specializing in Structural Engineering. I enjoy helping people whenever they are having trouble in courses that I am comfortable with. I have had multiple internships in a structural consulting company where I participated in the design process of structural steel components.

I like to approach a subject by first identifying examples of it being applied in real life, which gives me a greater outlook and understanding of how different topics are connected.
Having a strong foundation on the base topics is essential to have a proper understanding of engineering problems. Only after a problem is well understood, it can be represented mathematically and solved afterwards using the concepts learned in class.
I can help first or second year engineering students that are struggling with their statics or solid mechanics courses
