About Alexander
Hi, I’m Alexander — a senior chemical engineering student at Manhattan College with a 3.77 GPA and consistent Dean’s List recognition. As a Division I athlete, I’ve learned to balance a demanding academic and athletic schedule, which has taught me the values of discipline, time management, and resilience — all of which I bring into my tutoring approach. What sets me apart is that I’m facing the same academic challenges students face today. I understand the stress, the pressure, and the need to stay on top of everything because I live it myself. This helps me connect with students on a real level and offer support that’s not just academic but also practical and motivational. I focus on making complex topics clear and manageable. I’m here to help students succeed, grow in confidence, and build lasting skills.

I am a relentless problem solver driven to help students succeed. I focus on making complex ideas simple and relatable, meeting students where they are in the curriculum and building a strong foundation of confidence through clear explanations and step-by-step problem solving.
A typical lesson starts with a quick check-in and a review of recent material or assigned homework. We then dive into the topic of the day, focusing on understanding the why, not just the how. Each session ends with key takeaways, guided practice, and quick strategies students can apply on their own.
My lessons are best suited for middle school, high school, and early college students seeking support in Algebra , Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Chemistry, basic engineering principles, or Excel for STEM classes. Whether you’re preparing for a test, struggling with a topic, or aiming to get ahead, I’m here to help you succeed.
