About Ari
I’ve been tutoring since I was a sophomore in high school! I started off tutoring high school math and continued onto Spanish, then literature and language. Once I was admitted into every school on my list of 21 schools ranging from UCs to Ivy Leagues, I started to dabble in college admissions and test prep (I received a 35 on my ACT)! I love learning and I learned that I also love teaching! I had amazing tutors and teachers growing up and I have tried using what I learned from them to help more students. I love seeing the light bulb go off in someone’s head when they get something, it the best feeling!!

base all my lessons on proven psychological principals that work to increase memorization and speed up recall. My lessons are very specific to the student and our given timeline, but I use the same general teaching method + I always focus a lot on making the subject important to the student. It is so much easier to remember something when you care about it! I also try to make learning into a game or a puzzle, something that isn’t dreadful for students yet works in guiding them to WANT To know an answer rather than just throwing information at them.
