About Maya
I am almost finished with my education degree, and have passed my teaching elementary literacy exam (PRAXIS). I also recently started my student teaching. I am working in second grade, and am having so much fun! I have many years of teaching and childcare experience; I have been working at a summer school/program for 5 years now, and worked my way up to lead teacher!

It is important to make learning fun, and I have many tricks up my sleeve! I plan to make learning grammar and literacy fun by finding ways my student learns best and using real life things they enjoy. During my time in the elementary education major, I have learned many ways to make learning enjoyable. I enjoy working with grades K-5!
