About Wise Publishing

Hi! My name is Syeda Khadijah and along with being a full-time university student, I am also an experienced writer and self-published author with a passion for storytelling, reading, and helping students grow. I’ve created a paperback and audiobook for free, and I love teaching middle and high school students English, literature, and self-publishing skills.

About the lesson

With 5 years of experience in writing and self-publishing, I teach middle and high school English students how to write, edit, and publish their work. My lessons include structured writing exercises, storytelling techniques, and self-publishing guidance. I offer practical insights, having independently created a paperback and audiobook at no cost. I also help students with reading and literature analysis. I assist with reading comprehension, literary analysis, and critical thinking, fostering a deeper appreciation for literature.

Below is an example of what a potential lesson could like in my class:

**Lesson Plan: Writing, Reading, and Literature Analysis**
**Grade Level:** Middle & High School
**Lesson Duration:** 60 minutes
**Objective:**
Students will develop writing skills, improve reading comprehension, and analyze literary elements in a text.

**Lesson Breakdown**

**1. Warm-Up Activity (10 minutes)**
- **Quick Write:** Students respond to a prompt (e.g., “Describe a moment that changed your perspective”).
- **Discussion:** Share responses and discuss writing techniques (imagery, tone, structure).

**2. Reading & Literature Analysis (20 minutes)**
