About Shreya

Hi! I’m Shreya, a recent high school graduate. I am passionate about making learning something everyone can look forward to.

My wish as a tutor is to help you grow confidence in your ability and take charge of your personal academic goals. Whether it’s reviewing tricky content at school, practicing a skill or preparing for an exam, I’m dedicated to help and support you get where you deserve to be!

About the lesson

When it comes to learning, your curiosity, interests, understanding and individual needs always come first in order to realistically achieve your academic goals.

I am a deeply compassionate and efficient teacher specialising in high school English, Literacy and Humanities subjects. I also offer junior Maths and Science and holistic primary tutoring from Year 3 upwards.

I identify, design and execute a personal learning plan for students struggling, falling behind or wanting to get ahead. My lessons provide personal curriculums with step-by-step guidance to support students where needed and see results. I am happy to sit down with you and go over schoolwork, assignments or exam preparation, as well as providing practice materials and constructive feedback.

I have managed to graduate with a 90 ATAR despite struggling in school, discovering not only a range of efficient study techniques, but also how to approach learning and exams with a strong and sustainable mindset that they neglect to teach in school where your needs come first.

My experience in previous tutoring roles and in school leadership has shaped my approach to be individualised, caring and engaging.

My subjects in high school were: English Advanced, English Extension, Modern History, History Extension, Geography and Drama.

A lesson can range between 1 hour to 3 hours depending on a student’s personal needs.

Neurodivergent and special needs students are more than welcome. :-)
