About Justin
I have been a practicing attorney for the past 36 years working primarily with the Hispanic communities of Washington Heights and East Harlem. I have gained the confidence and friendships of members of those communities as well as judges and lawyers. Many of my former clients have stayed in touch with me long after their cases were over to ask my advice as they proceeded with thei lives and careers

I am a 63 year old semi-retired attorney who majored in Philosophy and English while attending Hofstra University in New York. I graduated from New York Law School in 1984 and passed both the New York and New Jersey bars thereafter.
I believe that teaching English as a second language requires a two-pronged approach: technical, i.e. nouns, verbs,adjectives and general sentence structure, and conversational, having day-to-day conversations in everyday situations. I believe my 36 years of dealing with the Hispanic community, in their own language, gives me the ability to relate to students so that they will be able, with practice, to converse comfortably in English. I would be able to prepare students for any educational or vocational goals to which they aspire
