About Mae
With over 10 years of experience teaching Mathematics and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I help IB and A-Level students approach learning with confidence. My teaching is centered on conceptual understanding and problem-solving versatility. I believe every concept, from Algebra to Geometry to Statistics, can be mastered with the right explanation. My lessons include targeted past paper practice to strengthen exam performance. I adapt each session to suit different learning styles, making math engaging and approachable. I encourage students to think critically and enjoy the process of discovery. My approach builds lasting understanding, not short-term memorization. Step by step, I guide students toward clarity and competence. Together, we’ll turn mathematical challenges into opportunities for growth.

My teaching approach blends structured learning with creative discovery. I believe that understanding comes through curiosity and play. In my sessions, math is explored through logic puzzles, pattern games, and real-world challenges. I introduce elements of game theory and recreational math to strengthen reasoning and strategic thinking. My lessons are designed to adapt to each student’s unique style. I support both Parent Supporters and Gamers who want to explore the fun side of math. We connect numbers to stories, choices, and experiences. I make sure learning feels comfortable and encouraging. Every topic builds confidence and independence. I aim to help students develop both skill and love for mathematics. Together, we turn problem-solving into a rewarding journey. Curiosity and laughter are always part of the lesson.
