About Nathan
I am an ex-secondary school history teacher with three years’ experience teaching covering KS3, GCSE and A-Level. I also have a years experience as an online tutor. I have a proven track record of dedication towards aiding student progression and helping them progress onto higher education, apprenticeships and work.
I bring my passion towards history and learning with me as a tutor and ability to build strong relationships with students. My calmness, empathy and sense of humour are key strengths that have helped my teaching develop and something that I take with each tutee.
For GCSE, I specialise in; the USA: Conflict Home Abroad, 1954 - 75, The American West, Henry VIII and his Ministers, Crime and Punishment.
For A-Level, I specialise in coursework, USA: Civil Rights 1865 - 1990, British History 1940 - 1990.

For students studying GCSE and A-Level, I am able to create detailed resources that assist in their studies and have a strong focus on exam technique to ensure that they can achieve well in their exams.
To help with this, I provide model answers and can discuss in depth with students why they are strong answers. I also am able to provide exam practice and mark work with detailed feedback.
