About Jennifer

I am a qualified English teacher with over 10 years of experience in the profession. I have taken a break from the classroom since having children. I enjoy teaching and have a passion for the subject. I genuinely miss being in the classroom and I look forward to helping students achieve their best in the subject in another way. I can help students with foundational skills or in completing and drafting assignments. As a teacher, I will not complete work for students, but I am skilled in helping them understand assignment requirements and completing work to the best of their ability.

About the lesson

I am an experienced English teacher who has held the position of Middle Years English Curriculum Coordinator at my last school. I am also very familiar with the current SACE requirements, having taught Stage 1 and 2 on many occasions.

I can offer online tutoring via Zoom either as regular weekly sessions or as required for assignment assistance which can include drafting for other language rich subjects where necessary.

I am flexible regarding length of sessions, however, I would recommend an hour to ensure all areas required are covered. I

I am incredibly enthusiastic about English as a subject and I endeavour to help students build a positive association with the subject.

As a school teacher, I am skilled in assisting students with their individual needs. I am experienced in working with students of all abilities.

My rates vary from $50-100 per hour depending on what is required (e.g. any specialised planning or drafting prior to lessons).

I do not offer free lessons (this is listed in my advert for some reason) but I will provide a 10-15minute commitment free consult to determine suitability.
