I am an experienced math teacher and have been teaching and tutoring students for 15 years. I am passionate about helping students understand math and have the ability to explain concepts in numerous ways. My approach to teaching is not to simply tell students what to do and teach a formula or an equation. When concepts are memorized they are quickly forgotten, but when they are understood, students develop life skills that will bring them success in the next course and beyond. Therefore, my focus is on understanding and not memorization.
