About Megan
I am a secondary math education major at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, studying to become a high school math teacher! I have experience working as a peer tutor throughout high school, and I am currently a learning assistant for a college algebra class here at UNL!

My approach to tutoring starts by focusing on concepts that students are already comfortable with and eventually moving towards more challenging topics once confidence builds. I don't think lecturing to or asking students to memorize concepts is beneficial, so I prefer to ask a lot of questions and work through problems together to teach new material! I have been tutoring since my freshman year of high school, so this is my 6th year tutoring! I plan on becoming a high school math teacher, but am looking to tutor both high school and middle school students.
