About Anastacia
My name is Anastacia, but everyone calls me Annie. I am 20 years old in October and am in my second year at university. I love doing maths as well as teaching it and it is something I have a strong enthusiasm for. Over the past 2 years I have really enjoyed tutoring GCSE Mathematics at both foundation and higher tier and it is something I am hoping to be able to continue doing.

I have a strong enthusiasm for maths, achieving a grade 7 at GCSEs, and went on to further study mathematics A-Level, in which I got a C but was just 2 marks off a B. Over the past 2 years I have done private one-to-one GCSE Maths tutoring for students in year 10 and year 11, but am also very able to tutor KS3 Maths for children in years 7-9. My typical tutoring sessions would be between 50 minutes to 1 hour depending on the student. My teaching techniques would be adapted to best suit the individual's most effective way of learning. Previous students have found it helpful to focus on specific topics they need explaining or assistance with, going over various example questions and then exam style questions to ensure they fully understand the methods and working out required.
