About Ella

Hi, I'm Ella! I'm a second-year Psychology student at Durham University with a lifelong passion for art. Ever since I was young, I've loved filling my time with creative projects, and I always knew it was something I wanted to continue developing as I got older. I completed both GCSE and A Level Art at St George's and still spend my spare time creating artwork.
At the moment, I particularly enjoy working with oil paints on canvas, but I'm confident helping students with a range of different techniques depending on what they're studying or interested in. I see art as a form of self-expression and have always found it to be both calming and rewarding. I have a portfolio of my own work that I'm happy to share to inspire students and showcase different styles and techniques.
My aim is to create a relaxed, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable exploring their creativity and building confidence in their own abilities. After graduating from university, I hope to complete an art course before starting my career, so art will always be an important part of my life.

About the lesson

Art has always been something I'm passionate about, and I love sharing that passion with others. I believe everyone can be creative with the right support and encouragement. Every individual is unique, and I see art as a way of expressing those qualities. I'll help you discover your interests and develop them through a range of artistic techniques and creative approaches. I completed both GCSE and A Level Art at St George's and continue to work on creative projects in my spare time. Whether you need help with coursework, portfolio preparation, or simply want to build your skills and confidence, I'll work with you at your own pace in a relaxed, supportive environment.
