About Elizabeth
I’m a second year maths student at Durham university. I got four A*s at A-Level and earned a first in my first year exams, so I have a good understanding of all things mathematical!
But, I haven’t always found concepts easy to grasp and sometimes all it takes is for an explanation from someone else, or some extra examples. Which is why I love tutoring. I really enjoy being able to help understanding and interacting with other people.

My lessons are focused on the student. Typically, we start with a recap of the topic, followed by example problems worked through together and then finally some challenges to be attempted independently but with me to help.
However, I like to spend the first session understanding how my pupil learns, so each lesson is tailored to let them succeed!
