About Alisha
I’m a second-year law student with a strong interest in English and a genuine enjoyment of helping students learn. Throughout my own studies, English has always been one of my strongest subjects, and I’ve developed solid skills in writing, analysis, and explaining ideas clearly — all of which I use when teaching. I decided to start tutoring because I know how much of a difference it makes to have someone explain things in a way that actually makes sense. I enjoy breaking down tricky concepts, helping students build confidence, and seeing them improve week by week. I’m patient, approachable, and focused on making lessons feel comfortable and manageable, no matter your starting point.

My lessons are calm, clear, and fully tailored to each student. I start by understanding what you find easy and what you find challenging, then build lessons around your needs so you can improve at a comfortable pace. For 11+ students, I focus on strengthening key reading and writing skills, building confidence, and practising the types of questions you’ll see in the exam. For GCSE students, I help break down exam requirements, plan answers effectively, and improve analysis and writing skills through steady, practical guidance. My aim is to create a friendly, supportive space where you can ask questions, take your time, and feel confident in the progress you’re making.
