About Ruby
I am a student at the University of Warwick and have been working at a teaching programme during my first and second year. This has been to help students from year 7 to year 11 with creative writing and in preparing them to take on a story-writing competition in conjunction with the University of Warwick. I also was deputy head girl at my old school. From both of these experiences I have found I work well with students of all ages.

I break down the individual questions of the actual GCSE papers into approachable activities so that students are learning the fundamental skills without being daunted by an entire exam question. I tutored at my school as part of a buddy scheme. I feel it really helps students to value their strengths and not feel intimidated by the idea of exams.
