About Anna
I am a second-year Economics BSc student at the University of Southampton, currently averaging a strong 2:1 and studying intermediate microeconomics, macroeconomics and econometrics. This means the content I teach for GCSE and A-level Economics is not only fresh, but also backed by a solid understanding of how it develops at university level.
I have experience explaining economics to friends and younger students in a clear, step-by-step way, and I am very patient with questions and going over tricky topics more than once. My main interests are development economics and data analysis, so I like to use real-world examples (e.g. inflation, interest rates, cost-of-living crisis) to make the theory easier to remember.
I am friendly, organised, and understand exam pressure first-hand, so I can also help with revision planning, past-paper practice and building exam confidence. Lessons are fully online, so students from any location can join.

I offer online GCSE and A-level Economics tutoring tailored to each student’s exam board and current level. As a second-year Economics BSc student at the University of Southampton, I explain concepts in clear, simple steps and always link theory to real-world examples so they actually make sense.
A typical lesson starts with a quick recap and a short quiz or past-paper question to check understanding. We then work through topics the student finds difficult (for example supply and demand, elasticities, macroeconomic policy, or development economics) and finish with exam-style practice and feedback on how to improve answers and structure.
Lessons are interactive and exam-focused: I help students build strong diagrams, improve their evaluation, and learn how to write high-scoring 10/12/25-mark answers. I also support with revision planning, homework questions, and building confidence before mocks and final exams
