About Ella
My name is Ella and I’m a 20 year-old student from Salford in the North-West of England. I study Biomedicine which is basically a LOT of Biology. I study molecular cell biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, cellular pathology, genetics and many more. I’d like to teach A-Level or even GCSE Biology because I want to show students the relevance of Biology and the massive range of topics and careers within it, as well as just helping you to pass your exams! I remember doing my A-Level in Biology was particularly stressful because it can feel like you’re being taught how to answer exam questions rather than understanding the content on a deeper level. I’d like to combine the subject understanding and exam practice to help you achieve the best you can!

Sometimes textbooks and academic resources can be boring and use language that is hard to follow. I like to explain biological concepts more informally, in a way that is easily followed no matter how focused or unfocused you’re feeling that day!
