About Grace

I know firsthand how challenging senior school can feel — especially when everything seems to hit at once. I’ve been through it myself, and now in my degree, I use that experience to help students simplify complex ideas, stay organized, and feel more in control of their studies.

What I love most about tutoring is seeing confidence build in real time. That moment when a student goes from feeling stuck to suddenly understanding a topic — and realizing they can do it — is exactly why I teach. My goal isn’t just better marks, but helping students actually understand what they’re learning so they can approach exams and assessments with confidence.

About the lesson

I tutor Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematical Methods for high school students (and can go up to university level), with a focus on making difficult concepts feel clear and manageable rather than overwhelming. I understand how stressful senior school can feel — especially when balancing tests, exams, assignments, and future pathways — so my goal is to create a supportive environment where students can ask questions freely and build confidence alongside academic improvement.

As someone currently studying in a rigorous science degree, I bring both strong subject knowledge and firsthand experience with effective study strategies, exam preparation, note-taking techniques, and understanding complex scientific concepts. I particularly enjoy helping students connect ideas together instead of simply memorizing content.
My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and highly adaptable.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor lessons to suit individual needs — whether that means breaking concepts down step-by-step, working through practice questions together, improving exam technique, or building foundational understanding from the ground up.
