About Lauren
I am a lifelong writer with 5 years of professional writing experience - including a few published articles in magazines! I have experience in essay writing, short story, poetry, screenplays, and even oral storytelling.
I also have experience running writing circles and workshops for students 11-22 years of age . This experience and my other contract work as an editor and proofreader make me a wonderful fit for all of my students' writing needs!

My lessons will focus on developing the student's creativity within structure. They will learn effective storytelling through literary techniques, expanded vocabulary, and grammar. Various activities and exercises will be utilized to accomodate the student's learning style and maximize their learning and enjoyment!
