About Jane

I’m a firm believer that it only takes two weeks. By this I mean that it will only take two weeks for a C student to become an A student. I mean it because I’ve done it. And I’m ready to help others as well. Yes, I am being monetarily sponsored by you, but my ultimate goal is to help you aim for 100. Of course, this does mean you as the student will have to input an equal amount of effort to get the output you need. But having someone that has your back and pushes you will get you to your destination faster. I have helped family friends, classmates, and neighbors on their academic journeys. Most have increased at least one letter grade since receiving my tutoring. I’ve learned that one set plan doesn’t work for everyone. Everyone has their own style of studying and thinking that is best for them, and I am willing to cater to that to ensure a better understanding.

About the lesson

I teach in a direct way, personalized to what you lack, and I am quick to respond to questions outside of sessions. Lesson breakdown: 1. Begin with a few problems that student should know 2. Questions that are wrong are reviewed and we find the solution and explanation for why it's solved that way together. 3. We move on to lesson objectives. I try my best to make the concepts easier to understand. 4. I will ask questions in between, and we solve problems before moving onto next objective. 5. A small quiz will be given before the end of the session to clarify previous and present lesson objectives. 6. Based on the questions you got wrong, I will identify areas where student must improve and will adjust to target those areas. If asked, additional problems are given out and I will explain problems for the student. Recommended for: Elementary-High School, the only thing I can teach to college students is calculus 1
