About Laurel
I didn’t always love science—honestly, I struggled with it in high school. But once I got to college and truly began to understand how chemistry and biology explain the world around us, everything clicked. That’s when I fell in love with science and pursued it all the way to a PhD in chemistry. Because I know what it’s like to find science confusing at first, I’m patient, down-to-earth, and great at breaking complex ideas into simple, understandable steps. Now, I can help students of all levels master biology, chemistry, and biochemistry.
