About Meg
I work at the prestigious Institute of Cancer Research in London doing cancer translational medicine in chemotherapy resistance in colon cancer.
I have been teaching students for the last 9 years and enjoy teaching and interacting with students. I have also taught and mentored many students in classroom settings that have led to improved results.
I believe in both educational and personal development as ways to improve academic performance. This has helped me in my own academic achievements and now I would love to pass on everything I've learned to new students.

My teaching method is tailored to student needs and specific to a student. For example, one method that has worked with a few of my students is that of asking questions to help students understand concepts better by their own derivation rather than rote learning.
I believe that efficient learning brings the best outputs. My classes range from simple middle school explanations to complex scientific problems to MS levels of experiment design and other classroom learning.
My goal is to spend time understanding your strengths and identifying problem areas holding you back from being your best self and teaching you strategies to improve solve and minimise the effects of anything that doesn't help you achieve your best!

I have known Meghana for the last five years as we both studied together at University for our undergraduate degree. She is a very hardworking and dedicated individual who leaves no stone unturned to accomplish what she sets out to do.
I have seen her teach biology to students at the GCSE and A-Level in the neighbourhood where we lived during our undergraduate days. I could see the enthusiasm and interest the students would have while learning from her. Meghana's impeccable command of the subject and her warm, affable personality make her a good and effective teacher. She is also highly adaptable and can change her teaching method to cater to the student's needs.
Her strong academic and research credentials justify her current position as a Master's student pursuing Translational Cancer Medicine at King's College London. Her perseverance and hard work have brought her this far. I am confident she will leave no stone unturned to do justice to her duty as a teacher as well.
I have absolutely no qualms about recommending Meghana as a teacher to potential students because she has the knowledge and experience to make a significant difference in their lives.
Meghana was the tutor of my little brother in Biology and English literature. My mom has been searching for a tutor for him until a uni friend of mine recommended Meghana to her. Meghana was really hard-working, motivated and passionate about both subjects, which inspired my brother to work harder. She was patient with explaining, pointed out where his weaknesses were and helped him improve. In the end, he graduated with better grades than any he had before in both Biology and English Literature! (So thank you Meghana!)
I have met Meghana during my studies in London, she is one of the brightest students I have met in years.
My younger sister struggled a lot with Math throughout high school. Luckily Meghana could help her the last two years to progress through private tutoring.
I would happily recommend her to anyone else.Meghana has taught my son Biology and since then his grade has improved massively. She is smart and very trustworthy :)
Miss Kumar was a great teacher to my son. She managed to improve his grades within a few months. Very impressed considering how many tutors have given up before!
My little sister took classes with Meghana and was always looking forward to those lessons. Meghana is an experienced tutor that can communicate what is most crucial to learning: fun and curiosity about a subject. Can only recommend!
I've known Meghana for over five years, during which we were project teammates, debate partners, and good friends. During this time I've seen her publish in Nature affiliated publications, work in premier research labs, win debate tournaments, science fairs and hold multiple positions of responsibility. In particular I approached her when I was preparing for my GRE to help with my Verbal score. She spent countless hours with me, building my vocabulary and reading skill, and helped me get a 329 in my GRE (up from 301 before I was tutored by her). From these experiences, I know that Meghana will help go out of her way to help students allocated to her. She is the type of person who takes pride in the growth of her students, she is smart and witty and will help you understands concepts faster, and most of all she is willing to adjust to the requirements of her students.
She has an Impeccable academic record and definitely a strong grip on subject basics.
Brilliant communication skills and comprehension capacity.
Can deliver content in a simplified yet helpful way!Meghana is someone whose passions flow through her veins, and this comes out so much when she teaches. Not only does her enthusiasm for the sciences shine out, but it's clearly backed up by years of study and knowledge. These two assets combined make her such a fantastic teacher! I've always found it a huge pleasure and privilege to listen to Meghana explain science. The depth of her knowledge is something to behold, and to hear someone whose love runs so deep is infectious! I'd really recommend considering Meghana!
Meghana and I were batchmates. She has taught me genetic engineering and cancer biology in my undergrad. To say that she's a superprof is an understatement. She's one of the best peer-tutors I've had.
