About Hailey
I was a tutor to 2 Spanish children over my summer last year, teaching natural science. The language barrier was somewhat of a challenge, but together, my student and myself, came up with a style of teaching that allowed them to grasp the key concepts of the material being taught and increased their proficiency in the subject at school for the next academic year. This would be from 10am to 3pm everyday for a 2 month period. Since then, I have regularly helped my younger family members with reading and homework, which they always love to do.

I am a first year biology student at the university of Bristol. I studied biology, maths and physics at a-level, achieving high grades in all three. I believe in a calm approach to teaching and engaging the interest of my tutees to enhance creativity and enjoyment surrounding the subject. I believe this will allow them to achieve higher grades as they will want to work harder if they are enjoying what they are learning. Also, I believe in an approach that increases the confidence of my tutees, where improvement is celebrated and dedication to the area of study is increased as a result.
