About Sarah
I have 2 years of experience teaching Science in schools, prior to this I worked as a lab technician for 2 years therefore my lessons will always contain a practical or demonstration element of some sort! Since the age of 18 I have tutored on private education programmes in addition to mentoring and working on research projects.

In a typical tutoring session I love to use activities and incorporate practical elements. I believe it is very important to apply any knowledge that is learned therefore I always teach the applications of the knowledge as well as using worked examples to build confidence for the student. Exam questions are given for every session in addition to further reading material. I am passionate about Biology, Physics and Chemistry and have been known to sneak a few magic tricks into my Physics sessions!

My rates are set at £17 an hour. Travel costs will be added on to this cost depending on miles travelled by car.
