About Mumtaz
As a former Life Scientist who studied both in Singapore and UK, I have learnt how teach students to ensure that they understand what they are learning. Also I am quite focused that students learn exam techniques in order to pass exams to their best potential.
Having studied up to the A levels in Singapore, I have access to the intensive Singapore worksheets which are similar to the GCSE in the UK.
I have got a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the UK and an MSc in Biology from Singapore.
My rates are for those who come over to my place. An additional £5 for travelling to your place.
I can also tutor in Maths up to year 3. I will ensure that your child gets a good foundation on basic Maths , the renowned Singapore way. I will also train youngsters on how to answer Maths question and provide them with ample questions to build up their confidence. I can also work the Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning questions for 7-8 year olds into the sessions.
I am generally available to tutor from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on weekdays, term-time. I am also available on Thursdays 3.30pm - 4.30pm.
