About Daniel
I am a secondary science teacher, beginning my career in inner-city schools in Leeds before moving back to the East Midlands. I trained during the pandemic and have seen the impact this has had on the learning and attainment of students, as well as the daily dynamics within the classroom. I strongly believe that all students deserve a quality education and strive to deliver this for all my students. Science is a great passion of mine, and despite the frequent question, “When will I ever use this in real life?” I believe that a strong foundation in science is not only essential to understanding the world around us but also vital to how we interact with it.

I use a student-centered approach, tailoring my methods to individual learning paces and needs with interactive and conceptual learning techniques. I prefer to start by identifying your weaknesses or knowledge gaps, ensuring a firm foundation in core concepts before progressing to more complex topics. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, but I’m flexible. As a secondary science teacher with 3 years of experience, I teach all levels and ages, from KS3 to KS4, ensuring each student achieves their academic goals through personalised support and assessment.
