About Samuel
I've been a science teacher for twenty years teaching in a variety of schools in Kent. I have been and examiner for OCR marking GCSE chemistry, and a head of department. I have some involvement with home education and am aware of the drawbacks and pitfalls of the school system.

Teaching methods depend on the individual and the context. Within a school environment, science should be a practical subject which is hands on and fun. As a tutor it involves identifying areas of misunderstanding, revision, exam guidance, etc. Ideally tutoring needs to be tailored to the individual and the needs of those involved.
