About Beth
I am currently a Secondary Science teacher, I have been teaching for two years and hold a PGCE in secondary science, an MSc in molecular genetics and diagnostics as well as a BSc in Biochemistry and Genome Science! Before this I was a serving member of the Royal Navy and have had various in between jobs all relating to science

My t eaching approach is very hands on, I teach pupils 11-16 and have lectured to adults as well. I like to use methods in analogies to help explain my content and where possible demonstrations. It needs to be fun. I am keen to use methods to answering questions alongside strong subject knowledge. I have recently taken a nurture class of pupils from underachieving to being forecast passes and reach their target grades in their GCSEs.
