About Nadia
I am a teacher and I have been giving lessons to individuals and groups for about 10 years. I have done a range of group tutoring, intensive individual tutoring, counseling, homeschooling, in-class room teaching, and outdoor education. I have taught over 100 students over my time. Over 10 of which have went on to graduate from top colleges/universities in America. Over 10 of which have been entrepreneurs and own small but successful businesses. Over 50 which graduated in the top ranks of their graduating classes.

My teaching method is flexible and versatile. I adapt to my kids needs. All in all I heavily rely on interactive learning as well as experiential learning. I believe in creating independent thinkers, so I give my students a lot of freedom and flexibility as well. I also believe in my students and value their trust and conduct my classes using the honor system. I do believe testing is beneficial but it is not the only way to analyze a students growth, therefore I use a multitude of designs to accurately encapsulate my students growth. Such as: project based learning, presentation portfolios, experience based internships, and oral examinations.

Details
My $ rate depends on what level of tutoring is expected. Homework guidance is lower than teaching material again to student. If the child has behavioral issues (not to be confused with learning differences) that will also affect rate. If I have to travel more than 30 minutes one way that will affect rate. 24 hour cancellation fee. If a lesson is not cancelled with 24 hour notice than the payment is still due for that lesson. If I have traveled and the lesson gets cancelled in route, double charge will be put in place for the inconvenience.
