About Science Tutor
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have extensive experienced teaching Biochemistry modules at university and have tutored A-level students in Biology and Chemistrh for over a decade. I bring both academic expertise and a thorough understanding of what students need to succeed in Biology and Chemistry, supporting learners of all abilities to improve their understanding, exam technique, and confidence. My lessons are tailored to the individual student, with a focus on developing strong subject knowledge and the exam skills needed to achieve excellent examination results.

My approach to teaching is usually student-led with focussing on their areas of weakness. This may involve teaching and covering theory and/or helping improve their application skills by practicing exam questions. I encourage students to link knowledge from different areas together to consolidate their understanding.
As I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years I have a comprehensive collection of resources for use in our lessons.
I endeavor to inspire passion and enthusiasm by trying to gain insights into the student's learning psychology, engaging their imagination and encouraging lateral thinking in their acquisition of knowledge and encouraging confidence.

Undergraduate Biochemistry/Molecular Biology.
I specialise in training students for Medicine and Veterinary Medicine with many of my students successfully attaining the required grades for entry at university.

- How much do you charge?
I charge £35/hr for A level/ 1st year undergraduate tuition.
- Where do you teach?
At present due to the high demand I have experienced I am only able to have tutorial lessons from my home. I live in Kings Norton, not far from Pershore Road South.
- When are you available?
I'm available week day evenings after 5pm and some weekends.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I can teach A-level and undergraduate level, usually students aged between 16-19.
