About Richard
I am a second-year chemistry student at the University of Nottingham. I achieved high A Level grades in chemistry, biology and maths and my teachers often complimented me on my unique way of solving problems. I have experience teaching the violin to several students, all of whom had different abilities and wanted to achieve different things from the lessons.

I base my classes heavily on the syllabus, however, I do believe that memorising page after page of a textbook is not a useful method of learning. My own personal approach to learning is to read about a topic from many different perspectives, rather than just "the textbook version" of a topic. My lessons will be structured in a similar way.
