About Amy
I am a Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) teacher with a Masters in Education and 17 years of experience teaching students from ages sixth grade through Community College. I taught Chemistry and Honors Chemistry for four years at the high school level. I enjoy working with students of all ages and I enjoy using creative methods to help students memorize difficult subjects.

I find out what students are interested in and try to connect that with what they are learning. I also use creative methods to help students memorize challenging topics. For example, there are songs to help chemistry students understand the terms "mole" and "Avagadro's number".
