About Lori
I have 23 years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught Kindergarten through 6th grade and tutored Kindergarten through 8th graders. I especially love teaching math and science but because I can teach any subject like to show how all the subjects can work together. Math didn't always come easily to me and I think that helps me to approach teaching it with simple strategies. My favorite grades to teach are the ones stuck in the middle, between 4th and 8th grade.

My approach is all about figuring out what you don't know and building on what you do know. I am patient, kind and find humor is the best approach for things that challenge us. Math and Science can be intimidating, especially in grades 4-8. Grades 4-8 is my specialty.
