About Jennifer
I have been teaching for over 20 years in the elementary school system. I have worked in a variety of school settings. I am a mom of 3 kids so that my empathy and understanding go further than just as a teacher. I am a busy mom with all 3 kids in various sports and activities over the years. They are older now and so I can get involved in some tutoring. I truly enjoy watching students grow in both their learning and self-confidence. I have taught in all grade levels. I have spent many years in both the grades of 4-6 and also in grades 7-9. I am happy to help in all areas including learning skills such as organizational skills, study skills, and planning. All very important aspects to a successful learning journey.

I have 20+ years of teaching experience. I have taught in all grade levels. I also have a specialist in special education. It is important to me to have the students feel comfortable so that we can grow their confidence in their learning. This is the best way to have the students engage in their learning. I am well-versed in all areas of literacy. I have the resources that we can work with. I also have a wealth of knowledge around the math curriculum. I am able to break down various concepts into small understandable chunks that allow the students to understand in steps. We can close gaps so that the current curriculum becomes clearer and more relatable.
