About Amy
With a strong foundation in music and a passion for teaching, I bring both skill and patience to every piano lesson. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Studies, which gives me a deep understanding of how students learn and develop, especially in creative subjects like music. Having played piano for many years, I focus on building confidence in my students while helping them progress at their own pace. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique, I provide structured, enjoyable lessons in a supportive and professional environment.

My teaching style is very supportive and relaxed, and I love to let my students take the lead and learn the things that are most important to them. A typical lesson would last 30 minutes, however, sessions can be booked together should you wish for the lesson to last 1 hour. I have a Bachelor's degree in Childhood Studies, and I have been involved with teaching and enriching young people since I was 14, when I coached hockey with the younger students at my school. I also have experience working at a Youth Club, Girl Guiding, and a nursery, where I used music to teach and played piano with the children regularly. My lessons are for children who are at a beginner level of piano and who require help either with practical learning or theory.
