About Poonam
I am a Biology tutor with over four years of teaching experience and a PhD in Biology. My academic background allows me to teach biology with depth, clarity, and purpose. I specialize in biotechnology ethics and the societal impact of modern biological research. My teaching approach in Biology is structured, focused, and exam oriented. I teach core Biology topics such as molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and physiology with clear explanations. For AP Biology preparation, I strongly focus on experimental design, data interpretation, and scientific reasoning. Students practice analyzing graphs, tables, and lab-based questions regularly. I use targeted drills to strengthen weak areas and improve accuracy. Practice tests are an important part of my methodology and are reviewed in detail.
I train students to write strong free-response answers using proper structure, keywords, and scientific logic. Real examples from biotechnology, materials science, and clean energy applications are used to make learning meaningful. Each session builds confidence step by step. I track progress and adjust lessons to help students improve faster. My goal is high scores and deep understanding. Students feel supported, prepared, and confident on exam day.
