About Lincoln

Hi there! I'm a tutor based in the Northern Suburbs (I live in Preston) that will cater to the education needs of your child. I am happy to tutor at my house, come to you, or meet you at a public place - whichever makes life easiest for you. While I specialize in teaching English (up to and including a high Year 12 standard), I can also tutor any Year level up to (and including) Year 10 in English, Maths, and Science. Parents have sought my services for their children who sit entrance examinations or scholarships. I am proud to say that I hold a very high success rate of entry. I really enjoy working with children and do my best to make sure that they learn happily and effectively. As a previous student of Melbourne High School, I have personally experienced the thrills and pressures of what is expected in the Entrance Exams. Both my younger siblings have also attended selective entry high schools. I currently study Education at Monash University. I offer tutoring services for Selective High School Entrance Examinations and general scholarships. I will be able to effectively relay and prepare you and your child for the upcoming Entrance Exam in June. The sooner you sign up, the more prepared you will be. (For Selective Schools Entry) I will cover every aspect of: - Numerical Reasoning - Mathematics - Verbal Reasoning - Reading Comprehension - Analytical Writing - Creative Writing From nine years of personal experience in tutoring, I know that one hour simply doesn't cut it. About the lesson

I apply empathy and resilience through my teaching methods in order to make my content more easily understood. It is important for students to push their limits so they can excel. Of course, frequent revision is important so that all the previously learned work is not forgotten!
