About Car
I'm 19, a college student, and have 9 years of experience playing the alto saxophone. I am looking to teach beginners or intermediate players. I've helped students with difficult pieces, conducted a 100 person band, and led warm-ups as a student leader in marching band. I've played in concert band, wind ensemble, saxophone choir, marching band, and jazz band. My special skills include rhythm comprehension, sight-reading, and improvisation techniques. I'm well-versed in the styles of classical, concert, pop, and jazz. I also have basic knowledge of music theory, piano, and acoustic guitar.

I am extremely passionate about music! I believe all students need a solid understanding of rhythm reading, scales, and basic theory to truly master their instrument. I enjoy encouraging students to read and break down difficult pieces to grow their confidence. I also would focus on proper technique, such as correct Embouchure and alternate fingerings, to develop a solid base for all students.
