About Imogene
Jazz improvisation, scales and arpeggios, dynamics and expression, sight reading, pop and contemporary, and pedaling technique form my teaching foundation. I admit that my own performance practice is often more demanding than what I ask of my students. With 9 years of teaching behind me, I hold an MMus in Piano from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Soft morning light fills the room as we begin a diagnostic playing assessment to establish your baseline. This process allows me to shape a learning plan that addresses your unique goals while maintaining a focus on concert stage discipline.
