The range of this class covers grades 1-6, dedicated to find and increase the knowledge of the student.
A typical lesson will involve the following:
-Warmups/Review
-Textbook lesson plan transferred to a slide show
-Practice problems
-Fun learning programs (Blooket, Kahoot, education.com)
-At the end of class I will usually assign homework problems: 2-5 questions.
-I will also dedicate time for schoolwork if necessary
The grade level taught will be determined by one of three ways:
-It will match the current level of the student and will be focused on supporting their school curriculum
-A target goal will be specified to me (ex. 4th grade math, specifically perimeter and area)
-I will give the student an assessment in the first lesson and will base my other lessons on those results
(Remember, I teach grades 1-6 math. If you are looking for something more advanced, I have another class that covers pre-algebra, algebra and geometry)
