About Ada
Hello, My name is Ada! It's pronounced as the Spanish homophone for the word fairy, 'hada' (silent h).
I am an avid learner and multi-lingual as much as I can be. I enjoy languages as I believe it is a way to show that we care about each other and respecting another culture in a way that shows interest.
Spanish is my native language, English is my close second. I grew up translating English medical and legal documents for my parents who immigrated here. So I can be very patient, and I am very comfortable helping with written translations.
I do lack some ability in teaching grammar (of any language) as language, to me, is an artistic form of expression and with art I struggle to remember the necessary rules. So please, have better grammar than me, I'll know how to help you sound like you're a local, not like you're a teacher.

My lessons are for students of all levels looking to have an understanding teacher that doesn't solely adhere to memorization techniques.
I myself am neurodiverse so I am comfortable taking guidance from you about what works best for your brain to understand the information. I will gladly take my time to adapt my teaching style to your learning style. I focus on phonetics, word association, and creating enjoyment in being a beginner in the language.
You'll learn what is some differences between flirting and just being nice (common phrases and ways friends/family communicate in general), what is amicable flirting and what is aggressive (formal/informal speech), and more colloquial understandings specific to Central America where my family is from.
