About Garrett
I am a recent graduate of Sacramento State with a degree in applied mathematics that I earned with honorable distinction. I have been tutoring mathematics for about 2 years now and have had a total of about 8 students. I have covered subjects ranging from algebra and geometry to calculus and statistics.

I feel that one of the best ways to learn information can be to arrive there through your own conclusions. My approach is to try to help the student take the logical steps necessary to arrive at the correct conclusion. Being able to repeat a process step by step is only the first step to learning, understanding why the process works allows for true knowledge. Through a process of inquiry and application students are able to better understand and retain the material they are presented with.
